Women`s shelters

A women’s shelter is a place you can contact if you are a victim of violence, of if you know somebody who is. The shelter offers advice and guidance to victims of violence, abuse, threats, forced marriage, human trafficking etc. Both you and your children can stay there if you need protection and support. There is a women’s shelter in every county, most of them are open all day every day. Anyone who contacts a women’s shelter is guaranteed full anonymity. Most of the shelters have access to interpreting services.
