Transferring money to another country

Money can be transferred to another country via a bank (including internet banks), by using a money transfer company, an internet operator, or, for example, at a post office. Different banks and companies offer transfer services to different countries, and prices and efficiency vary. The cheapest solution is often to use internet banking services.

The Norwegian Consumer Council financial services portal (Finansportalen) has a new online service Sending money abroad that helps you find the best way to send money from Norway to other countries.
